Job description

As an ADS sales rep you will maintain, train, and service our dealer partners in your area. Your responsibilities include growing customer value, promoting our products, and prospecting new customers.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new business by prospecting customers, following up on qualified leads from lead development and/or sales line call-ins / website inquiries, and matching products and services to customer requirements to secure the sale.
  • Prepare and create new accounts in our CRM system.
  • Maintain proactive communications (calls and emails) with customers and the ADS team — always offering the highest level of attention and support.
  • Train salespeople, sales managers, and finance managers.
  • Manage and maintain a customer base, ensuring accurate customer information is entered and updated in all required databases and spreadsheets.
  • Submit weekly company travel reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Experience using effective sales strategies to close inbound inquiries related to our products and services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret and resolve issues.
  • Willing to do in-person client visits 4 days per week in an established territory.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Develop product knowledge quickly and articulate how our products impact each dealership department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of a vehicle purchase deal structure from front to back.
  • Successful track record of sales results and quota attainment. References will be requested.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, LinkedIn, Google Drive, and CRM tools.
  • Availability to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Ability to work extended hours and be on-call after hours as needed.
  • Self-motivated team player who is resilient and detail oriented.
  • Clean driving record (Class B).
  • Business attire. Must provide own transportation.
